Service Project to Support Wayside Recovery Center
Wayside Recovery Center assists women who are recovering from trauma, addiction, and mental health. Their vision is that all women, children, and families achieve healing and hope for their future, free from the effects of addiction and trauma.
At the luncheon, we will be creating inspirational cards for welcome bags for their center. This project provides the opportunity to socialize with others while supporting an important cause. Guests will be asked to donate comfy clothes for women and children. Items for women are sweatpants, sweatshirts, cozy socks, slippers (all sizes). Items for children are tops, bottoms, socks, underwear, and diapers (all sizes). Wayside Recovery Center has provided us with a link to their Target shopping list to help with selecting items. All donations will go directly to the women and children served by the Wayside Recovery Center program.
